Hi, lovelies! Another month has been and gone and so it is only right that I do another monthly favourites post! Happy Easter, by the way, I hope you spend it like I am (eating too much chocolate). I feel like March has flown by but there were some new beauty items that I have been loving. Keep on reading to find out my March favourites and let me know what you have been loving this month in the comments.
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Soft glam palette
I won’t go into too much detail about why I love this palette so much, as you can read all my thoughts in my recent review. All you really need to know is… I adore this palette. It has pretty much been my go to ever since I bought it and with the versatility of the colours… who could blame me? I have been wearing this palette whenever I have gotten the chance and it performs beautifully. All of the shades are stunning, they blend seamlessly and have so much pigment that a little really does go a long way. I had to put it into my favourites this month simply because of all the compliments I get whenever I wear it. On a night out recently I wore more of a smoky look, with ‘Sultry’ all over the lid with a hint of ‘Bronze’. These shimmers, along with lots of mattes in my crease to add definition, really give a tied together look! It is annoying that the packaging is getting grubby already, but with these shadows, I don’t care. Simply amazing.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation
So I have had dry ass skin recently and so I have been buying any hydrating foundations that I can find (if you know of any good ones, let me know in the comments!) It has been causing me lot’s of trouble with my normal foundations making my skin look dry and flaky. This one is my new favourite. This foundation is extremely lightweight but still provides good coverage to hide all my red patches and blemishes. It gives a beautiful dewy finish, so if you have dewy skin this is not the one for you! With 12 shades available in the UK, available exclusively on *Amazon, I found my perfect match (201) and it looks fabulous all day without oxidising. I have been using this foundation to death, and I already know I am going to purchase it again I love it that much!
Primark Moisturising Foundation Stick
Okay, another foundation I’m sorry! But I did say I have been buying lots of foundations! I did an entire review on this foundation here if you want more detail, but this foundation is an absolute steal! At only £2.50, this foundation gives great coverage, a dewy…ish finish (more velvety) and is perfect for a fast morning routine or for on the go! Overall this is a great foundation and at such a low price, you can’t lose! I have never really tried stick foundations before but this one has convinced me! I have already purchased the L’Oreal Infallible shaping stick *foundation, so if you would like a review let me know in the comments.
French Connection Brow Pencil
If you read my Everyday makeup routine, you will know that brows take forever for me to do. I normally just use a brow pomade but recently to speed up the process I have been using the French Connection brown pencil. Yes, you read that correctly, French Connection do makeup. I was just as surprised as you are. Like I said, I don’t normally use brow pencils so I am pretty sure any pencil would do the job, but as I already had this in my collection I thought I would give it a go. I really like it! It now only takes a few minutes to do brows, compared to 10 minutes before and I am loving it. Please let me know you’re favourite brow pencil in the comments as I would really like to try some more.
Primark PS Chocolate Cheek Palette
Yes another Primark product. I’ve been testing a lot of their products recently and they are killing it. If you read my ‘Testing Primark’s Chocolate range’, you will know that I initially liked the Cheek palette but I wasn’t blown away by it. I have been continuing to try it over the past few weeks and I am obsessed with the Bronzer and highlight. The bronzer is beautiful, it doesn’t make me look like a walking, talking Satsuma and blends like a dream. I love the highlight to, not too brightening and so great for everyday wear. The blushers, I’m still not obsessed with, but then again I’m not a blusher kind of gal. But I will continue to use the palette as it is such a bargain!
So those were my favourites! What have you been loving this month?
Thanks for reading, as always,
Chloe x
