Dermalogica Biolumin-c eye serum review

Do you suffer from dark under eyes? Do you want to look like you haven’t been tired since 2008? Yeah, me too. I’m always on the hunt for something to make me look my actual age … 23, not 83. Dermalogica very kindly sent me their new Biolumin-c eye serum* which claims to brighten those pesky under-eyes. I thought I’d put it to the test so you don’t have to … is it worth your money? Keep reading for my Dermalogica Biolumin-C eye serum review!

Dermalogica Biolumin-c eye serum packaging:

The Dermalogica Biolumin-C eye serum has similar packaging to other Dermalogica skincare products. The simple black and white packaging scream luxury and, if you’re a massive Dermalogica fan like me, makes it easier to know what the product actually does. There are splashes of orange to of course represent the vitamin C in the serum. But enough of the boring stuff, is the packaging any good? First thing first, there is a squeezy tube making it incredibly easy to get all of the product out. There is also a small nozzle which helps to control the amount of serum you get at once – minimal waste and mess!

For £63 you get a total of 15 ml or 0.5 US fl. For me personally, I would like a bit more serum than that, especially for what is a pretty high price point. But as you only need to use a grain-sized amount twice a day – a little goes a long way!

Dermalogica Biolumin-c eye serum claims:

The Biolumin C eye serum is jam-packed full of important skincare ingredients including Vitamin C, Polyphenol-rich Arjun Tree Extract, Chia seed oil, tremella and Poria mushroom and micro-algae – wow, you certainly get a lot of bang for your buck. But, what does the eye serum claim to do?

This certainly seems like a wonder product – but does it actually work?

Does it actually work?

I’ve been using this product now for over a week, morning and evening on the undereye and on the orbital bone as instructed. I’ve always had terrible undereye bags and circles, but since using the Biolumin C eye serum they have definitely improved. My under eyes look brighter and are much less dry than usual. Has it worked miracles … no. But I look much less tired and my eyes are certainly brighter – hello less concealer! I’m excited to continue using this eye serum and see if I look more alive rather than my current zombie state!

Final Thoughts:

Overall the Dermalogica Biolumin C eye serum is great and I’ve certainly seen a difference. I love how it is gluten-free, cruelty-free, paraben-free, free from artificial colours and fragrances and vegan! I’m definitely impressed and if I continue to see improvements with my under eyes, I will definitely purchase this for myself. Anything to look younger right?

Have you tried the Dermalogica Biolumin-C eye serum? How do you banish those dark undereye circles? Let me know in the comments!

I love love love Dermalogica. I use their TRX range, which got rid of the pigmentation on my face. Now I can’t live without their products. And you’re right, anything to look younger lol. Now I recommend it to everyone who cares to listen haha!
