Hi there, remember me? You probably don’t seeing as it has been ages since I last posted… oops. I do have a good excuse I promise! I have been super busy with uni work that my blog has had to take a back seat. But not to worry, now I have finished uni I can focus on my blog more, so expect lots more posts over here on being-chloe.com! Since it has been so long since I last posted, I thought I would take the time to give you all a bit of a life update, and what my plans are now that university has finished.
Where have I been?
If you’ve been following me for a while you might know that for the last four years I have been studying Pharmacology at the University of Manchester. I’m not going to lie, its been a tough four years. Its been a long, long journey but I have finally made it out the other side. Well… almost (I graduate in two weeks). I always said I would maintain blogging during uni but the truth is that final year got the better of me. Whilst blogging was relatively easy to maintain during my placement year, the tight deadlines this year meant I struggled to juggle both and obvs uni had to be my priority! Thankfully, all of the hard work paid off and I am so happy to say that I will be graduating with a First class (honours) degree in Pharmacology. I cried my eyes out when I found out and I’m so relieved that I don’t need to worry about uni any more.
My first solo trip!
So after finishing uni I had some time to kill! I decided that I was going to challenge myself and go on my first solo trip to Greece. For 10 days I traveled around Greece, visiting Crete, Santorini and Athens and I had the most amazing time! I was basically Donna. I saw some incredible places and met some absolutely amazing people and I am so happy that I chose to go all by myself. Greece is a beautiful country, and I would love to go back and visit all of the smaller islands. I’m so proud that I actually went and I can’t wait for my next solo trip! Let me know in the comments below if you want a blog post all about my first trip alone or about travelling in Greece!
That’s the big question isn’t it. And one I am getting asked way too often now I’ve finished uni. But its also the question that I am avoiding, so I won’t go into it too much! So let’s talk about the fun stuff! On Thursday I’m going to the Big Apple… that’s right, your girl is going to NYC! This one isn’t a solo trip, instead I am going with my family for my dad’s 50th birthday and I am so excited. A few days after I get back I will finally be graduating and I know already that this will be one of my favourite ever days. Unless I fall on stage. That’s very likely, I’m not gonna lie. After that I’ll be jetting off to the very sunny (hopefully) Barcelona … *listens to Ed the entire flight there*. I’m going there with three of my friends, and I’m so excited to go away with them again! Make sure you’re following me on Instagram to keep up with my adventures! After that… well I don’t know! I am hoping to do a few more trips before real adult life begins (ew), hopefully Thailand!
So that’s a little life update. I’m sorry that I’ve barely blogged recently, but that’s going to change! Let me know in the comments what kind of things you want to see!
